Whole Game Solution survey results

21 September 2016

Notts County have announced the results of their Whole Game Solution survey.

The EFL have asked Notts for their views on a discussion document circulated to all clubs regarding the future structure of the league system and FA Cup competition.

Notts were very keen to engage with supporters on this subject from the outset and set up a survey to welcome views and opinions ahead of this Thursday's EFL clubs meeting.

More than 650 supporters participated, the vast majority of whom voted against the proposals.

83% of supporters said ‘no’ to the restructuring of the EFL, 81% dismissed the notion that EFL clubs play too many fixtures and 86% voted against the idea of a winter break.

Notts chief executive Jason Turner said: "I would like to thank everyone who provided their views on the proposals.

"The response has been excellent and the feedback has given me some excellent data, which demonstrates the majority do not wish to see change to the league structure.

"As a club we felt it was crucial to gauge supporter opinion on the WGS, and their answers to the survey will shape our response to the EFL.

"I will keep supporters informed of any developments regarding the WGS."
