The pre-season trip to Spain will further develop the positive atmosphere in the dressing room, according to Joss Labadie.

The pre-season trip to Spain will further develop the positive atmosphere in the dressing room, according to Joss Labadie.

Labadie has settled into life at Meadow Lane well, catching the eyes of supporters already with his energetic, tough-tackling performances in the middle of the park.

A brace in the trip to Scarborough Athletic at the weekend showed another side to his game and the feeling amongst his teammates is that he can only keep improving.

The 21-year-old has enjoyed the start to his County career and feels that a week in Spain with his teammates will only enhance that.

“All the boys have been looking forward to the trip, it’s hot out here but it will all be good for us,” he said.

“These trips are good for bonding, we can get to know each other and it will only help the team.

“I’ve come in training everyday so far and the lads have been great, they’ve helped me settle easily.

“Being around them 24/7 in a hotel will obviously be better, as we’ll get to know each other more.”
