Notts County have been drawn away to Scunthorpe United in the northern section of the draw for the first round of this season’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
The game against our npower League 1 rivals will take place on the week commencing Monday 3 September 2012, with full details of date, time and ticketing arrangements to be announced in due course.
Other ties in the northern section of the draw include an all-League 1 encounter between Carlisle United and Preston North End and Rotherham United playing host to York City.
