Jodi Jones and Tiernan Brooks return to Nottingham today having played for their countries on Sunday.
After making a late substitute appearance against North Macedonia last Thursday, Jones played 76 minutes against reigning champions Italy in a creditable 2-0 home defeat - competing against the likes of PSG's Marco Veratti, AC Milan's Sandro Tonali and Leeds' Wilfried Gnonto.
Brooks, meanwhile, made his Ireland Under 21s debut in a 2-1 friendly victory over Iceland in Cork.
We congratulate both players on their achievements and look forward to welcoming them back into the camp.
