We have been selected as one of only two EFL clubs to partner with the Premier League in offering an academy staff position to candidates who are currently under-represented in English football.
Clubs from across the pyramid completed a detailed application process to offer the position of Assistant Youth Development Phase Coach & Academy Analyst as part of the Premier League’s Coach Inclusion and Diversity scheme – and ours and Preston North End’s were the only ones accepted from clubs outside the top flight.
Crucial to this success was the demonstration of our academy’s well-established Development and Support programme, which underlines our commitment to growing the club from a diversity and inclusion perspective as well as our desire to reflect Nottingham’s multi-cultural community.
About the role
The role of Assistant Youth Development Phase Coach & Academy Analyst is an exciting, 23-month fixed term opportunity open to male coaches from black, south Asian and mixed heritage backgrounds, and female coaches from all backgrounds.
The successful candidate will work within our innovative academy to deliver our Player Development Strategy and assist in shaping the development of players across the academy pathway.
Their main coaching focus will be on our Under 13s and Under 14s training and games programmes, while their analytical exposure and learning opportunity will be to provide appropriate analysis provision across the player development pathway.
