With everything apart from the kitchen sink in tow, a couple of passionate Notts County fans have already stationed themselves at the front of the queue for Torquay tickets.

Father and son Gary Seagrave, 39, and Luke Seagrave, 18, arrived at 5pm this evening with a bag full of goodies and a kettle in preparation for a long night.

An initial batch of 500 tickets will go on sale at 12pm tomorrow and the pair were determined to wait in line for 19 hours to make sure they got their hands on them.

Season ticket holder of 18 years Gary explained: "There's obviously going to be a big demand for tickets so we thought we'd get down here early to guarantee us tickets for the big game.

"Reading messages on the internet messageboards there were one or two fans saying that they were going to be camping overnight, so hopefully in a few hours there'll be more to join us.

"We wanted to get them on Friday because Saturday's going to be really busy with the tickets going on general sale.

"I'd rather get the tickets early, and then I definitely know that I've got them.

"Hopefully the title will be confirmed by then but it's definitely going to be a party atmosphere and a really good day out."

Gary and Luke both felt that this was a game that they couldn't afford to miss after more than a decade without the taste of glory.

Gary continued: "I think it was just after the Allardyce area when my sons started coming down so they've never seen a promotion.

"I've been coming down since '82 and I've not seen a lot of success. When it does come along you've got to grab it with both hands."

Tickets go on sale exclusively to season ticket holders tomorrow with the rest of the allocation being made available on Saturday.
